profile.leanws.com/wiki is the main page needed to control your wiki:
The table at the top of the page summarizes info about all of your wiki accounts:
id | published on | updated | next payment | |
---|---|---|---|---|
LMN | firstwebsite.com | date | $2 on XX/YY/2022 | |
XYZ | secondwebsite.pro | date | $2 on XX/YY/2022 | |
where LMN and XYZ are numerical IDs, and clicking brings you to this account section (useful if you have several wiki accounts).
Initially the domain name for your website(s) will be wa-XYZ.leanws.com; in order to customize the domain name, click "configure this wiki account".
Each wiki account contains three types of files
These are text files from which HTMLs are generated.
To create a new web page, type its address in the input field next to "create new page" and press Enter. The address should be one word, lower register English letters or numbers or hyphen are allowed.
There are two special pages:
Files are sorted alphabetically; updating them is straightforward:
After you update the file (by either uploading its new version or editing it online) you might want to preview it prior to publishing (making it available to everyone). Click to preview your changes. If the result seems o.k., publish it by clicking ; otherwise edit the source again.
Clicking withdraws the web page without removing it. A withdrawn page can be edited and previewed, but remains accessible only to the website owner until they decide to publish it.
If you have accidentally erased your web pages, click "configure this wiki account" and find backups there if any. (Backups made daily, auxiliary files are not saved.)
Pictures, audio files, and everything else.
To upload an auxiliary file, first create it by typing its name (do not forget the extension) in the input field next to "create new file" and press Enter. Your new file will appear in the table, and now you can click to upload the file from your computer. Whatever is the name of the file you upload, it will be renamed to the name written in the table.
